Volunteering

We’re always looking for passionate individuals to join our committed team of Project Seagrass volunteers. For volunteering opportunities please contact: volunteers@projectseagrass.org

The summer period is our main fieldwork season where there are opportunities to pick seagrass seeds for our restoration work.

We also offer opportunities throughout the year where extra hands are needed to process these seeds.

Please sign up to our volunteer database here if you would like to get involved with our work.

We keep up to date with our volunteers on our dedicated ‘Project Seagrass Volunteers’ Facebook Group. All opportunities are posted on there, and we would love to have you on board in the future.

Please also keep an eye on our social media pages where we will post any opportunities to get involved!

Internships

We offer yearly internships for students that are currently enrolled in sandwich-year degree programmes. Usually, these internships constitute part of a funded degree programme and take place between years 2 and years 3. If you are interested in such an internship, please contact: info@projectseagrass.org

For individuals that are not students and not currently enrolled in sandwich-year degree programmes, Project Seagrass do not offer any unpaid internship positions. We believe that such positions are not equally available to everyone and serve primarily to promote those who
are already privileged. Any paid positions will be advertised.
