In 2021, Project Seagrass won the Climate Change category in the Blue Flag Best Practice Competition

Our successes and achievements are far reaching and driven by our ambition to secure a future for seagrass.
- Celebrated our 10th Birthday in July 2023!
- Hosted one of the largest International Seagrass Biology Workshops (ISBW) in 2016
- Created opportunities for over 20 students in marine conservation
- Created the worlds biggest “entry level” seagrass citizen science project
- Contributed to over 70 scientific publications
- Planted over one million seagrass seeds
- Worked in over 10 countries
- Contributed to the filming of BBC’s landmark series Blue Planet II and the recent Green Planet
