South & West Wales Fishing and Seagrass Survey

Project Seagrass have launched a survey to gather thoughts and ideas from local fishers and sea resource gatherers across South and West Wales to help us determine potential areas for seagrass restoration.

Responses to the survey will ensure that seagrass restoration sites are selected based on local knowledge and with an awareness and understanding of existing activities to ensure we avoid any conflicts and find the most suitable sites.

This short (10 minute) survey will feed into our programme of work in South and West Wales.

Understanding Scotland's Seagrass

Project Seagrass have launched a new study focused on better understanding seagrass ecosystems across Scotland.

Local knowledge is invaluable in understanding this habitat, the challenges it faces, and the impacts on communities connected to it.

Responses will help us to identify how best to support coastal communities in seagrass conservation, importantly ensuring local voices play a central role in shaping future strategies by those working in this field.

(Scots Gaelic speakers can access a translated version using the drop-down box on the survey).

Florida Keys Bonefish Survey
