Lyle joined Project Seagrass in October of 2025 and works within the Scotland office.
Lyle brings with him a wealth of experience in seagrass conservation, which he gained through his previous role as Seagrass Officer with the restoration project, Restoration Forth. During his time as Seagrass Officer, Lyle was able to guide and support a community of seagrass enthusiasts in the Firth of Forth on their conservation and restoration journeys. Lyle is passionate about empowering communities in advancing their knowledge and skills in seagrass conservation.
Lyle possesses a BSc in Marine Biology from Swansea University and a MSc in Marine Conservation from the University of Aberdeen. In his free time, Lyle enjoys running, surfing and playing tag rugby.
