Eve Uncles

Operations Lead

Eve holds a BSc in Geography from Swansea University, where she furthered her interest in ecosystem services and nature recovery. This led to a role as a Marine Laboratory Assistant at Swansea University, working on Seagrass Ocean Rescue and the WWF restoration project in Dale, Pembrokeshire.

Eve later joined Project Seagrass in 2020, where she now works as Operations Lead, overseeing the delivery of fieldwork across the organisation’s sites. She is an RYA Advanced Skipper, having skippered and crewed the charity’s research vessel, Gwenhidw, since 2021, and brings extensive seagrass fieldwork experience, having worked on several restoration projects across Wales and England.

Outside of work, you’re likely to find Eve in the sea rather than beside it — snorkelling along the Welsh coastline whenever the weather (and visibility) allows. When she’s not underwater, she’s usually cooking up a feast for friends!
